Levi Goes to Disco!
Levi signs with the Discovery Channel Team for 2007 and returns to the roots that earned him a podium finish at the Tour of Spain. As Levi stated, "I'm very excited about returning to the Discovery Channel Team, its family of sponsors and working with Johan Bruyneel once again. This team has a long history of success and I plan to work hard to continue their winning ways in 2007." (July 25, 2006)
Levi finishes the Tour De France as runner up on the stage to Pla-de-Beret and voted as the most combative rider on the stage to Macon. Up next Levi will defend his title at the Tour of Germany. (July 24, 2006)

Levi wins the 2006 Dauphine Libere! After a rough beginning, which included a loose stem in the Prologue and a crash that crumbled his bike and shattered his helmet in stage two, Levi placed third in the Mont Ventoux stage. Levi and his team then controlled the lead during the next two difficult mountain stages to secure the victory. This is Levi's second Pro Tour win; his first was in last year's Tour of Germany, where he beat Jan Ulrich for the victory. Read more here.

After a rough few days which included a loose stem in the Prologue and a crash that crumbled his bike and shattered his helmet in stage two, Levi placed third in the Mont Ventoux stage and has a 20 second lead over Denis Menchov in the general classification. Levi held the best time in the third stage of the Criterium International for most of the afternoon; he placed 5th in the individual time trial 12 seconds back.
Levi placed 6th overall in the Vuelta Murcia, his first race of the season! He was a key member of the leadout train that lead to Hondo's victory in stage one. He placed 9th in the stage two time trial, where he tested his new wind tunnel tested position.
